That's interesting. Before playing coop, I was afraid this would happen, but it hasn't. In our group, there is plenty of coordinating who gets to go where to get maximum benefit, how to share the source, and how to coordinate cooperative city assaults. In our group, it has not devolved into 'conquest with shared points' at all.
